For most patients, a 1-hour initial consultation is an appropriate and adequate starting point for assessment at the Geelong Long COVID Clinic. This allows time to review the main concerns, begin formulating a management plan, and arrange follow-up as needed.
Patients who would like a longer appointment, particularly if travelling a significant distance or hoping to complete as much as possible in one visit, may choose to book an extended consultation. Please be aware that appointments extending beyond 90 minutes attract a higher fee, reflecting the additional consultation time, clinical review, documentation, and communication required.
Ongoing care can also be provided through a combination of telehealth and/or in-person follow-up appointments, depending on clinical need and the patient’s location. This staged approach is suitable for many patients and allows care to continue over time without needing to complete everything in a single extended appointment.

Any medical reports and or correspondence requests for NDIS, WorkCover, insurance companies or any other third-party companies are not covered by standard consultation fees and will incur an additional private fee based on complexity and clinician time.
A $300 deposit is required at the time of initial booking, this will be taken off your account once you have had your appointment. We have a 4-hour cancellation policy, the deposit will be non-refundable if your booking is cancelled within 4 hours of your scheduled appointment time or if you fail to attend your appointment.
