Who We Are

Geelong Long COVID Clinic is a dedicated medical clinic focused on the assessment and management of Long COVID. We support people who continue to experience persistent or fluctuating symptoms following a COVID-19 infection.

Our clinic was established in response to the growing need for coordinated, evidence-based care for Long COVID in the community. We work closely with patients and their GPs to understand how symptoms affect daily life and to develop personalised management plans that evolve over time.

We recognise that Long COVID is complex and can impact physical health, cognition, emotional wellbeing, and quality of life. Our approach is patient-centred, multidisciplinary, and grounded in current clinical knowledge.

The clinic operates across Newcomb and Torquay in partnership with Banksia Medical Centre.

Victoria’s First GP-Led Long COVID Clinic

Geelong Long COVID Clinic is led by experienced general practitioners with a special interest in Long COVID and chronic disease management. Our GP-led model ensures care is coordinated, comprehensive, and integrated with a patient’s existing healthcare providers.

The clinic is supported by a multidisciplinary team, which may include medical specialists and allied health professionals, depending on individual patient needs. This collaborative approach allows us to address the varied and often overlapping symptoms associated with Long COVID.

The Team

Our clinical team brings together experience across general practice, rehabilitation, mental health, and chronic disease management. Each clinician contributes specialised knowledge while working within a shared, patient-centred model of care.

We place strong emphasis on collaboration, clear communication, and continuity of care, ensuring patients feel supported throughout their recovery journey.
